Key Lime Pie Weight Watchers Points

Key Lime Pie Weight Watchers Points

Fun fact: When I searched "key lime pie" on the Weight Watchers app it said 25 points for ONE SLICE!!!! (I follow blue.)

That one slice of pie would be more points than my daily points. There's no way I could do that!

In the past I shared a Key Lime Pie Dip that I love, but I wanted to make a lightened up key lime pie.

This lightened up key lime pie is only 6 points per serving. That's for WW blue, green and purple!

I counted the pie as 8 servings. They're good sized pieces of pie!

Not to mention 6 points per serving vs. 25 is a big difference.

I was looking for a way to make a lightened up version of a pie crust. I found this recipe on allrecipes and I modified it slightly.

First I cut back a little bit on the graham crackers. I only put the crust on the bottom portion of the pie pan.

I used fat-free plain Greek yogurt and vanilla extract. I also omitted the cocoa powder. That would be a little weird for a key lime pie. 🙂

For the filling of the pie I basically used my Key Lime Pie Dip recipe and doubled it.

Since I already know the Key Lime Pie Dip is delicious, I knew it would taste good as the pie.

I follow WW blue, but the points for all 3 plans are the same for this recipe:

The most important thing to do with this key lime pie is to keep it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

If it's not chilled long enough it will be difficult to slice.

I hope you try this key lime pie and love it as much as I do!

Yield: 8 servings (6 points per serving for blue, green and purple)

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons fat free plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 oz. reduced fat cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated Splenda
  • 8 oz. fat free Cool Whip (thawed)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Add the graham cracker crumbs, yogurt and vanilla to a small mixing bowl. Stir until combined.

  3. Spray a 9.5 inch pie pan with no-stick cooking spray. Pour the graham cracker mixture into the pie pan. Flatten the graham cracker crumbs and spread them out along the bottom of the pie pan (not up the sides).

  4. Lightly spray the pie crust with the no-stick spray. Put in the oven for 5 minutes.

  5. Add the cream cheese and key lime juice to a mixing bowl. Use a hand held mixer to blend until smooth. Add the Splenda and mix again.

  6. Gently fold the Cool Whip into the cream cheese mixture. To not over stir.

  7. Once the pie crust has cooled add the key lime pie filling to the pie crust. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
